OSUN STATE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION APPOINTS H.A.M OBA ABIODUN ORAROTIMI MULATTO, OBALURU OF IFE AS MEMBER OF STATE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE ON SAFE SCHOOLS
In a move to ensure a strong collaborative effort between the private and government stakeholders and to further strengthen its commitment to providing effective teaching in a safe and secure learning environment for students, the Osun State Ministry of Education in partnership with the State Senior Secondary Education Board (SSESEB) has appointed His Ancestral Majesty, Oba Abiodun Orarotimi Mulatto, the Obaluru of Ife, as a member of the State Technical Committee on Safe Schools for Senior Secondary and Technical Colleges.
The announcement was made yesterday during the inauguration ceremony at Osogbo Grammar School by the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole, who praised the extensive experience and expertise in community engagement of Oba Abiodun Mulatto who was ably represented by Oba Mike Adebowale the Oratunwase of Ife.
"We are delighted to welcome Oba Abiodun Mulatto to the State Technical Committee on Safe Schools," said Eluwole. "His deep understanding of the local community and his proven track record int championing initiatives make him an invaluable asset to our team."
The State Technical Committee on Safe Schools is a key component of the Osun State Government's broader initiative to create a safe and conducive learning environment for students across the state. The committee is tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive safety protocols, as well as fostering partnerships with local communities and stakeholders.
As a member of the committee, Oba Mulatto will play a crucial role in ensuring that the safety and well-being of students remain a top priority. He will work closely with the Ministry of Education, school administrators, and other committee members to identify and address any potential safety concerns, while also exploring innovative ways to enhance the overall learning experience.
