 HOUSE OF ORANFE MOURNS THE PASSING OF CHIEF SHITTU OLANREWAJU ORAYODE OLASOJI, OLUROYE OF IFE

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I, Oba Abiodun Orarotimi Mulatto, the Obaluru of Ife, Supreme Head of Àjo Iloromu, and Prescribed Authority of the House of Oranfe, announce and commiserate the passing of our beloved Priest, a prominent chief of the revered Oranfe dynasty and esteemed Baale of Obaluru/Oluroye compound, Chief Shittu Olanrewanju Orayode Olasoji, who departed this life at the remarkable age of 101, leaving behind a lasting legacy of traditional leadership and excellence.


On behalf of the Royal House of Oranfe and Àjo Iloromu, I extend our deepest condolences to the entire Oranfe dynasty, the family, and all those affected by this immense loss. Chief Olasoji was a pillar of our community, a beacon of wisdom, and a devoted guardian of our cherished traditions.


His unwavering dedication to the spiritual and cultural well-being of our people has left an enduring legacy, inspiring countless individuals who had the privilege of witnessing his traditional proficiency. The news of his passing has cast a pall of sorrow over our kingdom, and we mourn the loss of a great icon.

 

May his soul find eternal rest in the warm embrace of our revered ancestors, and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come. May the Almighty grant his family, friends, and our entire kingdom the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss
